The City of Brady currently owns portions of two (2) 69,000-volt supplied 12,470-volt electric substations, commonly referred to as "Brady North" and " Brady South" substations. The specific assets owned by CITY OF BRADY include the following: main General Electric substation power transformers (one at each substation), four (4) Siemens distribution feeder circuit breakers at south substation, hook switches, lightning arresters, five (5) Siemens distribution feeder circuit breakers at north substation, hook switches, lightning arresters, substation power service transformer (one at each substation), and miscellaneous distribution substation equipment, control wiring, perimeter fencing and substation sites (real estate). real estate closing for each substation site. THE CITY OF BRADY intends to sell all assets which they own, except for the Siemens distribution feeder circuit breakers. CITY OF BRADY owns no 69 kV assets; all 69-kV assets are owned, operated, and maintained by American Electric Power (AEP), who also provides the City's point of interconnection to the ERCOT transmission grid. CITY OF BRADY's Contract of Sale of Substation assets will include Bidder's agreement to perform the 15 Commitments listed in Appendix D and acknowledgement of their willingness to be legally bound thereto as an integral part of the Contract.
