The University of Ontario Institution of Technology (herein "Ontario Tech") is accepting proposals to Engineer, Construct and Assemble a new bleacher system to be located on the east side of the Vaso's Field outdoor sports facility. The Proponent will supply an engineered bleacher system that will adhere to all local and regional applicable codes. This System must contain a minimum of 700 pedestrian positions net. Bleacher manufacturer responsible for the design and provision of stamped drawing for granular base and seating system. Bleacher manufacturer responsible for providing engineering portion of OBC Commitment to Review form which will be utilized in obtaining building permit. Ontario Tech will retain a licensed Architectural firm to assist in the permitting process. Bleacher manufacturer must adhere to all elements detailed in the attached specifications. Ontario Tech to procure and retain the civil contractor that will complete the foundation works required as designed by the Bleacher manufacturers structural engineer The Proponent will be response for: Creating a construction zone via construction fencing, signage and locking mechanisms to ensure the construction site is identified and secure from non-authorized access. This is an active campus and the sports field will have activities undergoing during the construction period Installation of new bleacher system complete with resting and anchoring system as per design and applicable codes. Repairs to any damaged existing areas during construction Sealing any penetrations that are required or left from the removal of the existing equipment. Scheduling manufacturer and consultants field service visits and commissioning of the system. Project Commencement: February 2024 Substantial Completion: August 9, 2024
