Work to be Performed: The work shall consist of the removal and replacement of existing curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveway and valley gutter sections; tree removal, stump grinding, root pruning; and other miscellaneous concrete projects including but not limited to the installation of stamped colored concrete, constructing concrete curb ramps and reconstructing storm drain catch basin tops. All Contractors and subcontractors listed on the bid proposal must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. No contract will be awarded to a Contractor or subcontractor unless registered with Department of Industrial Relations. Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Antioch, California, has obtained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages to be paid to the various craftsmen and laborers required to construct said improvements, a copy of which may be viewed Electronically Award of the contract, if it is to be awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder whose proposal complies with all the requirements described. Such award, if made, will be made at a meeting of the Antioch City Council within 90 days after the opening of the proposal. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the time announcement for the opening, on or before the award and execution of the contract, unless the award is delayed for a period exceeding one hundred ten days. No bid will be accepted from a contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 9, Division III of Business and Professions Code.
