The project site is located at Fugate Drive in Chatham Woods Subdivision. The site occupies land on the County right of way and on private parcels. The contractor shall be responsible for any damage(s) occurs to the utility lines, private properties and shall be responsible for the required repairs at contractor's expense. The contractor is required to contact all utilities and coordinate the location of their lines. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to check the website for answers to inquiries no later than Thursday, December 28, 2023, 5:00 pm EDT The main purpose of the project is to improve the drainage system. The work consists of the replacement of existing lines and the installation of new storm drainage lines and catch basin(s). Contractor shall be required to remove existing asphalt, install new storm drainage system place stone (if under the road) new asphalt pavement. The Contractor shall coordinate with utility companies prior to start construction. o The contractor shall submit detour plans and have the plans approved by the County prior to any road closing. o The contractor shall ensure a safe thru-traffic during the pipe installation and at all times during construction. o The contractor shall ensure an access to property at all time by placement of stone over installed pipe immediately. The work will impact the following: a) Roads in the subdivision and side streets. The Contractor shall coordinate to ensure the flow of traffic when installing storm drainage. b) Several private properties for the purposes of installing/upgrading the drainage system. c) Utilities to be identified and coordinated by the contractor prior to star of work. o Contractor to follow all Greenville County and SCDOT requirements. o Contractor to ensure all proper notifications to county and citizens of road closer prior to closing a road. o Contractor is responsible for obtaining, maintaining and restoring the staging area. This project includes, but is not limited to, the following: o Contractor to notify each property owner prior to work performed on their property or saw cutting driveway in order to move vehicles out.
