The District is requesting from potential vendor who are able to provide services that will include but are not limited to preventative maintenance, repair, replacement and installation of new heating, ventilation, air conditioning equipment, refrigeration units, air handling unit, duct work, duct cleaning, diagnostic test equipment, testing and other related services as required by the district. For the K.-12 schools, there are unique considerations we must take into account when maintaining and choosing HVAC and other building systems. Areas that are the maintained by the district such as regular classrooms, science labs, art labs, FACS rooms MDF rooms, gyms and other instructional sites and buildings, The Child Nutrition Program and cafeterias must maintain walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers which must be regulated and maintained at certain required temperatures. Some ofthese sites have chiller type ofsystem, etc. Some systems are also computerized and are monitor on a daily basis three hundred sixty-five (365) day schedule. This is a brief description ifHVAC system, but they are not all inclusive.
