Questions regarding bids shall be directed to Kirkham Michael & Associates, Inc. 217 North Douglas Avenue, Ellsworth, Kansas 67439 in writing no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid opening. Question Deadline 01/02/2024 ] Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid. The bid guaranty may be by certified check or bid bond made payable to the City of Lyons and Rice County, Kansas. Bids may be held by Lyons and Rice County, Kansas, for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract. The right is reserved, as Rice County, Kansas, may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received.
