Mulcahy Middle School 1001 W Sonora Tulare, California 93274, 1909 Hillman Street Tulare, California 93274 The District is seeking a vendor capable of providing Fiber Optic and Ethernet wiring to specific locations as defined in APPENDIX A and APPENDIX B of this document. The respondent qualified bidder would be capable of providing all aspects needed to physically install, provide connectivity to both new and existing network equipment as well as provide the necessary infrastructure accessories common to such installations. The regulation/requirement is per the following; Effective January 1, 2016, Public Contract Code (PCC) section 7203, added by Assembly Bill (AB) 552, requires liquidated damages provisions in every local agency public works contract, and recovery of actual delay damages will be barred. Typically, a $500 amount per day is stated on such contracts in the unlikely event that the work affects normal school operations. For this contract, it is expected that work would reasonably be completed no later than March 15, 2024 however, to take into consideration potential issues with availability of parts, this project's deadline with respect to liquidated damages as listed in the Notice to Bidders is extended to the end of the fiscal year, JUNE 30, 2024.
