It is the City's intent that the successful Firm will be involved for the full duration of the design development, preparation of construction and bidding documents, and construction administration phases including materials testing of the project. A general description of the scope of work for this project is provided below. It is the City's intent that the successful Firm will be involved for the full duration of the design development, preparation of construction and bidding documents, and construction administration phases including materials testing of the project. This project will include the design and construction of three new deep groundwater wells, pumps & equipment, access roads, electrical & fiber utilities, backup power, and drainage/earthwork improvements as necessary to make the well sites accessible and maintained. The design and construction will include a wellfield collection line extending from existing Well 6 to proposed Wells 10, 11, and 12. The collection line is expected to cross the Union Pacific Railroad and the Little Brazos River. Electrical service to this site will be provided by BTU east of the Little Brazos River and Entergy west of the Little Brazos River. The potential production rates for Wells 10, 11 and 12 are 1,903 Ac-ft/year, 1,631 Ac-ft/year, and 1,531 Ac-ft/year, respectively. The permits' approved expiration date is August 2027.
