Yuba County Public Works is soliciting proposals for public engagement and outreach activities for the Friendship Park Beautification Project within the community of West Linda, California. Scope of tasks includes managing and coordinating meetings, preparing community engagement plans, conducting a survey of pedestrian, bicycle, and physical activities at the park, conducting and gathering relative data about Friendship Park, etc. The purpose is to gather public opinions/ideas and concerns they may have for the development of Friendship Park. Public engagement materials/deliverables will include printed notes, copies of presentations, counts, social media posts, maps, photos, reports, handouts, flyers, surveys and summary of results. Also, that the above is a list of required tasks. It is the proposers responsibility to expand upon this list and clearly define the tasks required to successfully complete the project. The project is State and locally funded. This is a cost-plus-fixed-fee and project specific contract. The DBE goal is not required, per the grant or the County Public Engagement schedule to open after award date with an end on December 31, 2025 The professional services requested will pertain to a comprehensive park improvement project, under the auspices of the Clean California Local Grant Program (CCLGP). This project will be funded by state and local funds, a majority of which will be from the state's CCLGP. This project will enable residents to feel safe and utilize the new Friendship Park features. These guidelines are provided for standardizing the preparation and submission of proposals by all Consultants for professional services. The intent of these guidelines is to assist Consultants in preparation of their proposals, to simplify the review process by the County, and to provide standards to better compare proposals. A maximum of twenty (20) single sided or ten (10) double sided pages will be submitted (including the introductory letter and resumes).
