Project No: 20-DP-6681, BL-0024, EB-5894 The project generally includes 2.75 miles of trail construction, consisting of 2.0 miles of 12-foot wide asphalt trail (12-foot wide asphalt, 2-foot shoulders), 0.65 miles of new 12-foot and 10-foot wide concrete trail (12-foot or 10-foot wide concrete, 2-foot shoulders, with turndown on stream side), 5 new bridges, and 0.1 miles of new 12-foot wide wooden boardwalk construction and associated demolition, clearing, drainage, erosion control, pavement marking, and signage. Contractors submitting a bid on this project have 60 days to obtain a license to do the specified type of contracting in the State of North Carolina. All bids must include a non-collusive affidavit. Contractors offering a proposal on this project must comply, and must ensure that their subcontractors comply, with the requirements of Article 2 of Chapter 64 of the North Carolina General Statutes, ìVerification of Work Authorization,î and must provide documentation or sign affidavits or any other documents requested by the Town of Cary demonstrating such compliance.
