Type of Award Lump Sum Bid Bond 0.00% Payment Bond 0.00% Performance Bond 0.00% Pre-Bid Meeting No Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 01/19/2024 5:00 PM (PST) Response to Questions: January 23, 2024 Professional design services for Rubidoux Boulevard and State Route 60 interchange The City of Jurupa Valley ("City") invites qualified and interested consultants to prepare and submit a proposal for Professional Services for the completion of the Project Approval and Environmental Document (PA&ED) phase of the Rubidoux Blvd & State Route 60 Interchange project, including permitting and approval process through Department of Transportation District 8. The Project Study Report was prepared for this project and has been approved by Caltrans. No faxes or emails will be accepted. Costs for preparing the proposal shall be borne by the firm. All proposals must be properly signed by an authorized representative of the company with the legal capacity to bind the company to the contractual agreement. In addition, the proposer's authorized signature of the proposal assures the company's understanding of the intent to enter into a contract for the scope of work. Proposals may be withdrawn up to the date and time set for closing proposal acceptance and upon written or e-mailed notice to the City. Negligence upon the part of the proposer in preparing their proposal shall not constitute a right to withdraw a proposal subsequent to proposal opening. A conditional or unqualified proposal may be cause for rejection. Only proposals properly received will be accepted. The proposal shall be typed and submitted on 8.5" x 11" size paper, up to thirty (30) pages (not including cover, dividers, transmittal letter, table of contents, and required forms). 11" x 17" pages will be acceptable for exhibits/schedule and will only be counted as one page. Firms should not include any unnecessarily elaborate promotional material. Lengthy narrative is discouraged, and proposal should be brief, clear, and concise. The Consultant and their personnel are required to adhere to all Federal, State, and local laws that apply to the provisions of the services under this Agreement, as well as those laws that regulate the general public. The City reserves the right to negotiate mutually acceptable service-related conditions, including cost. All questions and/or inquiries regarding this RFP shall be submitted through Planet Bids vendor portal. No other members of staff shall be contacted regarding this RFP. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to waive any defects or irregularities in the proposals or selection process. Prior to the commencement of work, the selected consultant will be required to execute a Professional Services Agreement with the City of Jurupa Valley.
