Renovation of a retail development in Gering, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a retail development.
Remove and dispose of existing overhead sectional doors, tracks and hardware. Install new insulated commercial grade double-sided steel doors, include all necessary hardware, standard lift track, weather seals, torsion springs and heavy-duty trolly operator, all installed according to manufacturer specifications. A. The successful Bidder is allowed 90 calendar days to complete the Project from the date of Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $100.00 for each consecutive calendar day for which the work is not substantially complete and $100.00 for each consecutive calendar day for which all of the work listed on the punch list is not complete. Anticipated Notice to Proceed will be on January 9, 2024. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. The Work will be completed and ready for final payment on or before April 7, 2024
