Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in West Park, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The work consists of, but is not limited to, the construction of a new 47 LF reinforced concrete monument wall of varying height located inside Mary Saunders Park at 4750 SW 21 Street, West Park, Florida 33023. Site work to include clearing/grubbing, earthwork/grading, tree relocation and sod restoration. The project requires the Contractor to provide full construction services including, all labor, materials, machinery, tools, supplies, services, equipment, and incidentals necessary to construct the concrete wall and associated elements in its entirety in accordance with contract plans prepared by McHarry Associates. The contract shall be awarded to the responsible and responsive vendor who submits the lowest responsive bid. If, however, the City Manager deems it to be in the best interest of the City, the City Manager reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive informalities or minor defects in any bids. Bids which contain irregularities of any kind may be rejected as informal. The City's Local Preference Policy (as outlined in the City's Code, Sections 2-150 & 2-164 and as amended by Ordinance 2018-05), will be considered when evaluating proposals and awarding services. If the local company is a subcontractor, the proposer must delineate the specific elements of the work the local company will perform and the dollar value of the work as a percentage of the total contract value. This documentation must be signed by both proposer and local company to confirm their intent to establish a business relationship and confirm the local company's percentage.
