Site work for a water / sewer project in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Contract time and liquidated damages for failure to complete are detailed in the Contract Documents. Bids shall be made out on the bid proposal form provided, sealed in an envelope, and plainly marked on the outside of the envelope: Bid for 2024 DredgingOperations, Barnett Reservoir, Bid #23-600-19-99. The work shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following: 1) mobilize equipment and personnel to the site, 2) construct disposal facilities, per plans 3) dredge channels to specified depth and dimensions, 4) monitor disposal facilities, 5) demobilize equipment and personnel from the site, 6) conduct bathymetric surveys to verify quantities of material removed. The project is expected to require dredging of approximately 45,000 cubic yards of in-place sediment. The project is on District property in Rankin and Madison Counties, in Mississippi. Bidders must be qualified to perform the work. Qualifications and experience shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents and provided by the Bidder, if requested by the District. The DISTRICT reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein. No Bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
