Highland Toroellipse The structure is a 400,000-gallon toroellipse elevated water storage tank with an estimated highwater level of 150 ft. located at 6199 410 th Street in Primghar, Iowa. Hawkeye Point Standpipe The structure is a 500,000-gallon standpipe water storage tank with an estimated diameter of 35 ft. and a high-water level of 70 ft. located at 5469 130 th Street in Sibley, Iowa. Okoboji Double Ellipse The structure is a 140,000-gallon double ellipse elevated water storage tank with a high-water level of 131 ft. located at 1782 160 th Street in Spirit Lake, Iowa. Liquidated damages are applicable and begin after 55 days out-of-service for the Hawkeye Point Standpipe, 35 days for the Highland Toroellipse, 25 days for the Okoboji Double Ellipse, or after Substantial Completion date whichever is the earlier date. Liquidated damages at $1,250/calendar day is to apply after this date. Ready for Final Payment Date is to be thirty (30) days after date Substantial Completion Date based on out-of-service days or scheduled Substantial Completion, or as adjusted by Change Order, or actual Substantial Completion if earlier. Liquidated damages after Ready for Final Payment Date of $250/day is to apply. Liquidated damages are cumulative if damages from Substantial Completion and Ready for Final Payment overlap. In addition, Special Damages, fines, or Set-Off may also apply per Bid/Agreement Form SCOPE of WORK Tank Information: Highland Toroellipse The structure is a 400,000-gallon toroellipse elevated water storage tank with an estimated highwater level of 150 ft. located at 6199 410 th Street in Primghar, Iowa. Hawkeye Point Standpipe The structure is a 500,000-gallon standpipe water storage tank with an estimated diameter of 35 ft. and a high-water level of 70 ft. located at 5469 130 th Street in Sibley, Iowa. Okoboji Double Ellipse The structure is a 140,000-gallon double ellipse elevated water storage tank with a high-water level of 131 ft. located at 1782 160 th Street in Spirit Lake, Iowa. The work includes: Highland Toroellipse Exterior: High pressure water clean (5,000 to 10,000 psi) and spot power tool clean to a SSPC-SP11 standard. Apply a three (3) coat epoxy urethane system. Wet Interior: Abrasive blast clean to a SSPC-SP10 near-white metal standard. Apply a three (3) coat zinc epoxy system. Dry Interior: Abrasive blast clean the entire dry interior to a SSPC-SP6 commercial blast. Apply a three (3) coat zinc epoxy system to the access tube and bowl and a two (2) coat zinc epoxy system to the rest of the prepared surfaces. Foundation: Water clean and apply a two (2) coat epoxy system. Mixer: Install a mechanical mixer. Repairs: 1) Replace the bowl manway gasket. 2) Install a gasket on the secondary wet interior roof hatch. 3) Replace the primary wet interior roof hatch. 4) Install a handhold at the painter's (bird) hatch. 5) Install deflector bars on the fill/draw pipe. 6) Replace the sample tap on the fill/draw pipe. 7) Overflow discharge modification. 8) Install a roof platform. 9) Install a wet interior ladder. 10) Balcony drain holes. 11) Install a swing gate at the balcony opening. 12) Weld repair holes on the sidewall. 13) Install cathodic clips and pressure fitting. 14) Install a roof handrail with a painter's railing. 15) Install bowl rigging couplings. 16) Adjust the loose sway rods. 17) Replace the dry interior light bulbs. Hawkeye Point Standpipe Exterior: Abrasive blast clean to a SSPC-SP6 commercial standard within containment. Apply a four (4) coat zinc epoxy urethane system. Wet Interior: Abrasive blast clean to a SSPC-SP10 near-white metal standard. Apply a three (3) coat zinc epoxy system. Apply a polyurethane caulk to the roof lap seams. The mechanical mixer is to be removed and reinstalled after the topcoat is cured. Foundation: Abrasive blast clean and apply a two (2) coat epoxy system. Repairs: 1) Replace a sidewall manway. 2) Replace the sidewall manway gasket. 3) Install a gasket on the wet interior roof hatch. 4) Install a sample tap on the fill/draw pipe. 5) Overflow discharge modification. 6) Install a roof platform. 7) Install cathodic clips and pressure fitting. 8) Weld steel plates over the cathodic lift holes. 9) Install a roof handrail with a painter's railing. Okoboji Double Ellipse Exterior: High pressure water clean (5,000 to 10,000 psi), spot power tool clean to a SSPC-SP11 standard. Apply a three (3) coat epoxy urethane system. Foundation: Water clean and apply a two (2) coat epoxy system. Mixer: Install a mechanical mixer. Cathodic Protection: Install an impressed current cathodic protection system. Repairs: 1) Install a gasket on the bolted painter's hatch. 2) Replace the wet interior roof hatch. 3) Replace the sample tap on the fill/draw pipe. 4) Overflow discharge modification. 5) Install a fall prevention device on the leg ladder. 6) Install a roof platform. 7) Install a wet interior ladder. 8) Install a swing gate at the balcony opening. 9) Install a roof handrail with a painter's railing. 10) Relocate antennas to the roof handrail. 11) Adjust the loose sway rods. 12) Replace the missing bolt on the leg ladder cage.
