Renovation of a municipal facility in Sharon, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 900-square-foot municipal facility.
The Town of Sharon Water Department, 217 Rear South Main Street, Sharon, MA 02067, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from General Contractors for the Construction of the: Sharon Water Department Administration Building, Depot Street, Sharon, MA in accordance with the documents prepared by KSID Architects. The Project consists of the following: Interior renovation of a 900 sq ft building built in 1896 in Sharon, MA. The work is estimated to cost approximately $825,000. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J & to prevailing wage rates, as required by M.G.L. c.149 26 to 27H inclusive. General bidders prequalified by the Awarding Authority pursuant to Section 19 of Chapter 193 and certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAMM) as General Contractors in the General Building Construction category may submit bids. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the bid amount and made payable to the Town of Sharon.
