BC Wildfire Service (“BCWS”) of the Ministry of Forests is seeking proposals from vendors to deliver and set up a temporary modular complex for the crew members of the Prince George Zone. The modular complex will need to be ready for occupancy by February 18, 2024 or sooner. The modular unit should include a minimum of eight (8) modules wide or approximately 5,760 square feet and be suitable for office, locker and meeting room space. All units must include air conditioning and heat (propane or electrical). BCWS requires the following spaces be included in the complex:
1) Two (2) Locker Area(s)
One room should be approximately 26’x36’, sized to hold 32 lockers for NIFAC crew members.
The other room should be approximately 26’x24’, sized to hold 26 lockers for Unit crew members.
Preference for locker rooms and change room to be separated from the remainder of facilities to minimize odors
Must be close to the change room 2) Change room approximately 9’x12’

Large enough for two fridges, a countertop and cabinets – there will be no sink 4) First Aid Room – approximately 9x12
Sized to fit a cot, chair, small countertop, and cabinets for storage 5) Storage area – approximately 8’x12’ 6) Open crew work and lunchroom area – approximately 40’x48’ 7) Four (4) Enclosed offices

Unit Crew Leader (CL UC) - approximately 20’x12’
