**As of February 14, 2024 , This project has been awarded to Construction Company, Inc. with the awarded amount of $41,565,026,11.** Description WV Parkways Bridge Deck Replacement Contract in Kanawha County, West Virginia. The BDR-3-24 project is located along the West Virginia Turnpike at I-77 Mileposts 83.31 and 83.43. It consists of fully replacing the northbound and southbound bridge decks over Cabin Creek Road (County Route 79/3), Cabin Creek, and CSX Railroad, with precast deck panels and barriers utilizing accelerated bridge construction. All bridge decks shall be replaced during the designated ABC timeframe. Contractor to pay special attention to the recent changes in the construction details when compared to previous contracts. A Cashier s or Certified Check or Bid Bond in Favor of the West Virginia Parkways Authority, for an Amount Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Amount of the Proposal or $2,000 Whichever is the Greater, Question Deadline 01/18/2024 at 10:00 AM ET Prospective bidders must be prequalified in accordance with SECTION 102.1 of the WVDOH Standard Specifications All work under this contract shall be completed by May 22nd, 2025. Median Barrier Wall work will be allowed from November 1st, 2024 to March 31st, 2025, provided the contractor maintains two (2) lanes of traffic in each direction as shown on plan sheet 91 of 328 under Stage 9: Post ABC Median Construction. The West Virginia Parkways Authority Reserves the Right to Reject Any And All Bids.
