This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), Educational Policy and Development - National Mine Academy is to provide procure services to perform annual inspections, recharge, and hydrostatic testing of portable fire extinguishers. The Contractor will provide labor, equipment, materials, supervision, permits, licensure, and any other incidentals to inspect the approximately 180 portable fire extinguishers; recharge eight (8) 20-lbs ABC dry chemical fire extinguishers, recharge twenty-four (24) 5-lbs ABC portable fire extinguishers, recharge thirteen (13) 10-lbs ABC portable fire extinguishers, recharge eight (8) 20-lbs ABC portable fire extinguishers, and hydrostatic test two (2) portable fire extinguishers. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The period of performance shall be completion of work within ninety (90) days after award. All work must be scheduled to complete within this timeframe. 5. HOURS OF OPERATION: The Academy operates between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday, except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government-directed facility closing. 6. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The work to be performed under this RFI will be conducted at the National Mine & Safety Academy, 1301 Airport Road, Beaver, Raleigh County, WV The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
