Reference Number 0000261665 Question Acceptance Deadline Jan 04, 2024 02:00 PM EST Term: Apr 01, 2024 12:00 AM EDT - Mar 28, 2027 12:00 AM EDT Option: Two- One year This contract is to provide Elevator Maintenance Oversight/Consulting Services on a recurring and on an as and when required basis for the Public Works and Government Services (PWGSC) Facilities within the RP1 contract for the Ontario Region. The BGIS Global Integrated Solutions Canada LP Representative shall notify the Consultant of any specific work that arises and shall specify the work required. Consultant shall provide a quote for the requested work and carry out the work in accordance with the scope of work below and BGIS terms and conditions. The Consultant shall perform the annual inspection maintenance as per code. Periodic inspections must be completed every twelve (12) months on all elevating devices specified in Appendix 6 - Elevator Device Information to ensure that they abide by the most stringent Safety Code for Elevators and Canada Labour Code. The Consultant shall at their sole expense furnish all necessary tools, travel, service equipment, materials, products and labour to provide the Services. 1.1. The successful Proponent(s) could be engaged to provide General Elevator Consulting Services on any or all of the following services, including but not limited to: 1.1.1. Review and comment on correspondence submitted by the various elevator contractors. 1.1.2. Review troubleshooting reports and documentation. 1.1.3. Inspect all work performed by Elevator Preventative Maintenance Service Providers and review the Service Providers Technical Standard and Safety Authority (TSSA) Master Services Agreement Maintenance Control Program (“MCP”) to ensure that it is in compliance with required standards. 1.1.4. Inspect and report on accuracy of elevator, logs and maintenance provided, i.e., ensure work is being performed as per contract, codes and standards. 1.1.5. Attend meetings where required to act on behalf of BGIS on matters relating to elevators. On demand as required in cases of dispute or issue. 1.1.6. Review maintenance contract documents and make recommendations where necessary including financials. 1.1.7. Review and comment on RFP documents for elevator maintenance. 1.1.8. Make recommendations for short-term upgrades and minor improvements. 1.1.9. Make recommendations for long-term upgrading or replacement of equipment. 1.1.10. Prepare RFP documents for upgrades or replacement of equipment. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.bgis.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
