Renovation of an educational facility in Johnston, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 86,000-square-foot educational facility.
Submit all questions pertaining to this project in writing to Mark Thiessen, Angelo Architectural Associates, LLC, 12314 Ridgeview Drive, Urbandale, Iowa, 50323, and Email mthiessena1@mchsi.com within 5 days of the specified Bid Due Date. The Beaver Creek Elementary School, Re-Roof Project consists of re-roofing all existing rock ballast EPDM membrane roofs to remove existing 2"+/- thick river rock ballast and loose-laid EPDM roof membrane, any wet insulation and all perimeter membrane flashing, metal roof edge and counter flashings as indicated on drawings and install new 2" thick rigid polyisocyanurate roof insulation screw fastened, 1/2 " thick high density polyisocyanurate cover board adhered with low-rise foam adhesive and fully adhered EPDM 60 mil roof membrane, required roof edge block / sheathing and new pre-finished metal roof edge and new counter flashings and miscellaneous flashings for approximately 86,000 +/- sq. ft. of Base Bid Roof Area and 9,000 +/- sq. ft of Alternate Bid #1 Gymnasium Roof. Refer to Alternate Bid #1 for ballasted / adhered roof system. Question Deadline 02/01/2024
