Renovation of an educational facility in The Dalles, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 18,000-square-foot educational facility.
As of February 13, 2024 project was awarded toGriffin Construction LLC but awarded amount is not available. The seismic retrofit of Chenowith Elementary School includes the rehabilitation to the existing lateral system components in order to meet the requirements for Immediate Occupancy as outlined in ASCE 41-17. This will be accomplished by adding to or altering the existing structure and lateral load path to the building foundation. North Wasco County School District 21 will be releasing a Request for Proposal utilizing a Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) process for the seismic retrofit of the existing Chenowith Elementary School.
