Each Vendor shall submit a signed original bid in a sealed opaque envelope indicating the company's name and bid title, and one (1) electronic copy in the form of a flash drive marked: BID # 23-ERF-008 - BACKUP BATTERY BANK The County may consider informal any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions hereof and may waive any informalities or reject any or all bids. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled time for the opening of bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified will not be considered and will be returned unopened. Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the actual date of opening. Facsimile transmitted bids are not acceptable and will be rejected The term of the contract shall be for one (1) year effective from the date of Contract award. All bidders MUST provide two (2) options, one (1) for replacing the battery banks with Lead Calcium batteries and one (1) for replacing the battery banks with Nickel Cadmium batteries. The batteries to be replaced are Alcad LP135 and Alcad MP115 batteries. Each bid will be subject to an evaluation of the proposed batteries in how they compare to the batteries being replaced.
