Renovation of an educational facility in Oswego, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

***As of March 18, 2021 project has not been awarded yet. A timeline for award has not yet been established. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 90 days after the contract start date. Scope of Work: Reconstruct NE corridor of Wilber Hall to update the following required exit accesses, exits and exit discharges. Exit signs shall be installed and maintained in accordance with the building code. The project will be constructed under a single prime contract. This project was designed as two separate projects and called out as such on the project drawings. This request for bid is for project #1 only. This project includes demolition, construction, mechanical, electrical and fire protection to renovate the Northeast Corridor of Wilber Hall. There are two add alternates called out as part of this bid. Contractors should submit all questions no later than five (5) business days after the virtual walkthru. All questions are to be submitted in writing and can be e-mailed to Richard Merritt at richard.merritt@oswego.edu In compliance with Section 139 of the State Finance Law, all questions pertaining to this solicitation during the restricted period shall be made formally through email to the designated staff. Designated staff for the solicitation is: Richard Merritt, SUNY Oswego, (315) 312-2208 - Richard.merritt@oswego.edu Contact with other than the above-designated SUNY Oswego employee concerning this procurement may result in the rejection of your bid. Bids must be submitted electronically in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. The original bid package is to be mailed to the campus after the electronic version is submitted. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority and women-owned business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The Campus MWBE Goals are 20% Minority and 10% Women. The Campus SDVOB goals are 6%. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids. All plan holders who receive the Contract Documents from Plan and Print Systems will receive Addenda notification by e-mail.
