**As of March 11, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Thorpe Park Perimeter Fence Demolition and Haul Away Thorpe Park, an over 200-acre regional park with a variety of access points, is the location of this project and bid opportunity. 191 N. Thorpe Road is the technical address. Bidder will be able to access the demolition area North of N. Mogollon Street with bordering roadways of N. Aztec Street and N. Bonito Street to the east and west. The fence borders the City's Sustainability department at 419 N Mogollon St, Flagstaff, AZ 86001. SERVICES: Contractor is to remove approximately 900 LF of 8-foot-tall chain link fencing, and 300 LF of 6-foot-tall temporary chain link fencing, including all posts and footers, surrounding the area indicated (marked in yellow highlight) in Attachment A, Area Map ("Project"). All materials and any resulting debris are to be hauled offsite and disposed by the Bidder.
Bidder will ensure that any holes created by footer excavation are filled and lightly graded to original area contour for each hole. If holes are to be left open overnight, they will be clearly flagged by the Contractor. All vehicular traffic must drive 5 MPH when entering, onsite and exiting this site. Contractor's are to ensure that their vehicles and demolition work do not block the entrance or exit to the Sustainability building. Any questions must be received by the Procurement Specialist via email at least five (5) calendar days prior to the Closing Date and Time. The City reserves the right to reject any Bids, or any part thereof. The City reserves the right to accept any Bid, in whole or in part, any Bid schedule or line item, and to award a Contract, or Contracts, for purchase of the same. The City reserves the right to waive any clerical error or nonmaterial defect in the Bid when it is deemed to be in the City's best interest. The City reserves the right to cancel or reissue a Solicitation. This site no longer has a construction yard as shown on the image in Attachment A, Area Map. This space is now clear of construction materials and other debris and can be utilized as a small onsite yard during the demolition of the Project. SCHEDULE: Bidder will begin work upon contract finalization.
