The work of constructing City of Lafayette Water Plant Modifications DWSRF Project No. FS010301-01 Contract No. 1 Contract LF23 085 will be let under one Contract, the principal items of work are detailed herein below. 1. Replace Flocculator 2. Rehabilitate Both Filters The Contractor is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 500 consecutive calendar days and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF THE CONTRACT TIME IS EXCEEDED. The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages. Documents: No refunds will be made except to Prime Contractor Bidders, which shall be refunded for one bid set.
