The owner has determined a prequalified list of construction managers. The final selection should be complete no later than February 14th 2024. Contractors are invited to submit Proposals for the City of Casper Construction Manager at Risk for the Casper Business Center Remodel Project. The successful contractor will provide preconstruction and construction phase services for extensive remodeling of an eight (8) floor building, the Casper Business Center. The City of Casper reserves the right to reject any or all submissions, and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in submissions received, and to accept any portion of a proposal or all items, if deemed in the best interest of the City of Casper. The proposed Casper Business Center Remodel Project is a critical reconstruction project for the City of Casper. The eight (8) floor building was purchased approximately 2 years ago with the primary goal of housing the complete Casper Police Department, along with the Information Technology division to provide support from this large, centralized facility. The use of the building is currently mixed, including hold-over tenants who still have lease agreements, and displaced City Hall employees who will return to their remodeled building in Fall of 2024. The new design by the architect, Police Facility Design Group, will bring the building up to compliance with current building codes and will provide for existing and future operations of the Casper Police Department.
