By this Request for Proposal (RFP), Design, Engineering and Construction for the University of Guelph requests from you, a written fixed stipulated price for the work as described herein, signed and sealed, on your company letterhead. The fixed stipulated price to include all costs (including any overhead and profit, disbursement and expenses) associated with the work. Place of Work: Gryphon Soccer Complex East & West Fields - Building 220 - Arboretum Road, Guelph, ON. Appendix E includes a site that outlines the location of the place of work. Scope: For the removal of existing, and supply and install of a new synthetic turf system complete with in-laid line markings for both the East and West fields. Existing E-layer and curb to be repaired prior to placement of new turf. Field marking layout to be reviewed and approved by Owner prior to placement. East Field is 70m x 110m and the West Field is 75m x 110m. Refer to Appendix D - Turf Specification for full scope requirements. Minimum field requirements include but are not limited to the following: - 40mm - 50mm monofilament system with sand and TPE, Crumb Rubber infill or EPDM granules infill - on existing E-layer - Minimum 360-400 micron monofilament fibre - 30-40 kg/m2 of total infill - Uniform turf colour tone Field Base Testing requirements - FIFA quality requirements.
