The project set consists of HMA resurfacing, with milling and HMA patching as required along various streets throughout the City of Cannelton. All questions shall be submitted prior to 12:00 PM (Central Time) on Tuesday January 2, 2024. The final addendum addressing all questions received will be issued no later than end of business on Wednesday January 3, 2024. Bids are to be submitted on the forms furnished within the contract document Project Manual with the required bond and/or check, properly executed in accordance with the directions contained in the Instructions to Bidders. The Contract will be awarded on the basis of the lowest responsive, responsible bid and the criteria defined in the Bid Form and Instructions to Bidders. The City desires to promptly award this contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in order to have an executed agreement on or before February 2nd, 2024. The City of Cannelton reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any informality or technicality in any bid. The work includes, as described in the Project Manual, repairs and resurfacing of various streets throughout the City, including but not limited to pavement patching, subgrade repairs, milling, removal, hauling and disposal of removed or excess materials, asphalt surface overlay, pavement marking replacement, maintenance of traffic and all other appurtenant work.
