Construction of a Potable Water Deep Well approximately 1,300 feet deep, with steel casing pipe in these approximate lengths and diameters: 60 feet of 24 inch, 375 feet of 18.625 inch, 900 feet of 14" diameter. Grouting, development of the well, disinfection, installation of a 650 gpm 580 TDH submersible well pump with associated pitless adapter and appurtenances for an operational well and pump system. The work must be completed by October 23, 2024. Each Bidder shall accompany the Bid with a Bid security, in a separate envelope, as security that the successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work bid upon and will furnish after the award of the contract corporate surety bond or bonds, acceptable to the Owner, for the faithful performance of the contract, in an amount equivalent to one hundred percent of the amount of the contract. The bidder's security shall be in an amount equivalent to 5 percent of the bid amount, and shall be in the form of a cashier's or certified check drawn on a bank in Iowa or a bank chartered under the laws of the United States of America, or a certified bank share draft drawn on a credit union in Iowa or chartered under the laws of the United States of America or a bid bond with corporate surety satisfactory to the Owner. Each Bidder will be required to submit qualifications within 15 days of request by the owner as described in the bid documents. The successful bidder will be required to provide a minimum of 4 wells of similar depth and complexity completed within the last 5 years The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities or irregularities. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
