The construction of an approximately 2,500 square foot splash pad will be constructed in Camanche's Platt Park. The contractor will be required to extend approximately 400' - 8" sanitary sewer and 170' - 6" water main to the splash pad and future restroom building. Electrical service and splash pad controls will also be a part of the construction project. There will be an alternate bid item as part of the project to include a future restroom building. The work must be SUBSTANTIALLY COMPLETED BY 05-16-2025 AND READY FOR FINAL COMPLETION by 05-30-2025. Each Bidder shall accompany the Bid with a Bid security, in a separate envelope, as security that the successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work bid upon and will furnish after the award of the contract corporate surety bond or bonds, acceptable to the Owner, for the faithful performance of the contract, in an amount equivalent to one hundred percent of the amount of the contract.
