The work for which bids are asked generally includesthe following: Construction ofsludge storage pad, insulated hoop building, sludge piping and polymer system, sludge drying bed, rehabilitation of final clarifiers, replacement of oxidation ditch equipment, replacement of pumps, lift station control building and standby generator, and SCADA upgrade. The location of the improvements is within the City of Sumner City limits, at the existing Wastewater Treatment Facility, 2 nd Street Lift Station, 3 rd Street Lift Station, 5 th Street Lift Station, Hwy 93 Lift Station, and Main Lift Station. Work on the Project shall be commenced any time after a written Notice to Proceed is issued. The Project shall be substantially complete by May 1, 2025 with final completion achieved by June 1, 2025. The successful BIDDER shall be required to furnish a performance BOND and a payment BOND, each in the amount of 100 percent of the CONTRACT PRICE, with a corporate surety approved by the OWNER, within ten (10) calendar days of the date when the NOTICE OF AWARD is delivered to the BIDDER. The NOTICE OF AWARD shall be accompanied by the necessary AGREEMENT and BOND forms. In case of failure of the BIDDER to execute the AGREEMENT, the OWNER may at his option consider the BIDDER in default, in which case the BID BOND shall become property of the OWNER.
