DESCRIPTION OF WORK (Existing Courts): Work consists of repairing, resurfacing, and repainting of the existing four pickleball courts at Frank Pate Park, clean and prepare surface, fill any minor depressions, and fill any cracks. After patching and leveling is completed apply acrylic resurface coatings or equal pickleball court playing surface: DESCRIPTION OF WORK (New Courts): The proposed project is located at Frank Pate Park and generally consists of the construction of 2 new pickleball courts. The work includes, but is not limited to: site clearing, grading, site drainage, constructing 64 x 64 concrete reinforced pickleball court surface including 4 limestone base, footers 8 x8 with 2 -#5 rebar, with 1% cross slope per USAA Pickleball specification and acrylic playing surface, installation of net posts and foundations, net anchors, nets, 8 black fencing, and two walk gates. B. Construction of a new 64 x 64 Concrete reinforced Surface for Two Hard Surface Pickleball Courts o Site Preparation, clear and grade site, install 4 limestone base, footer with 8 x8 with 2-#5 rebar, install 4 thick concrete 3000 PSI with fiber reinforcement. o Fencing . Install an 8 black vinyl chain link fence with 2 pedestrian gates around the perimeter of the new court. o Texture and Finish Courses. Apply two (2) successive coats of colored, sand-filled acrylic coating to the entire prepared area of the courts. Colors to be chosen by Owner. o Playing Lines: White textured playing lines applied with acrylic paint to meet USTA (Tennis) guidelines. o Pickleball Posts and Nets , Supply and install two new pickleball posts and nets. The City of Port St. Joe reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Statements of Bids in whole or in part, to waive informalities in the process, to obtain new Statements of Bids, or to postpone the opening pursuant to the City s purchasing policies.
