CR Number: 2104967 The State University Construction Fund (SUCF) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from consultants to provide design and construction administration services for the Rehabilitate Building Envelope - MacArthur Hall project at the State University of New York, College of Technology at Canton. MacArthur Hall houses faculty and administrative offices at the college. MacArthur Hall, constructed in 1972, is a 36,442 GSF, seven-story building. The exterior building envelope is original, is at the end of its useful life and contributes to increased heating and cooling loads due to its lack of energy efficiency. The project will rehabilitate the building envelope using materials that will result in less energy use within the building. The project will replace the existing concrete shingle facade with an insulated metal panel facade, replace windows, and replace building entry doors and vestibules. The Project includes the removal of hazardous materials, as the existing shingles are coated with asbestos containing material. The construction value is estimated at approximately $5,160,000.
