Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Willard, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Willard (the City) is seeking sealed competitive bids for the grading of two Recreational Center Baseball Fields located at 233 N State Highway Z, Willard, MO. The successful bidder (Contractor) shall provide all materials, supplies, equipment,supervision, and labor for the project. The grading will have the following specifications: o Import premium grade topsoil to create a 6 inch crown from the pitcher's mound to the outfield. o Contractor provided source. o Cut the outfield to allow drainage away from 1st and 3rd base foul lines. o Bid must include cost for: o Materials. o Machine Time. o Labor. o Machine time to spread additional field material must be included in the bid price. All materials provided by the Contractor shall be of good quality. The Contractor shall furnish satisfactory evidence as to the kind and quality of materials. At the conclusion of the work, the contractor shall demonstrate to the City's authorized representative that the work is fully complete and certify that it is in compliance with contract specifications. Any deficiencies shall be promptly and permanently corrected by the contractor at the contractor's sole expense prior to final acceptance of the work. * The contractor agrees that the goods or services furnished under any award resulting from this solicitation shall be covered by the most favorable commercial warranties the contractor gives any customer for such goods or services and that the rights and remedies provided therein are in addition to and do not limit those available to the City by any other clause of this solicitation. A copy of this warranty should be furnished with the bid. At a minimum, all materials, equipment and labor shall be fully guaranteed by the contractor against defects resulting from the use of inferior materials, equipment, or workmanship for one (1) year from the date of final acceptance of the entire project by the City in writing. * The Contractor shall take all necessary precautions and be responsible for protecting all involved City assets including but not limited to the building, well, infrastructure, equipment, access roads and grasses and landscaping from damage as a result of the work being performed. * The contractor shall clean up frequently all refuse, scrap metals and debris caused by it's operations, so that the site of the work shall present a neat and orderly appearance. No such refuse, rubbish, scrap material and debris shall be left within the work area nor buried on the building site, but shall be removed from the site and properly disposed of in a licensed landfill or otherwise as required by law. * Contractor should prepare bids for work to be done on each field separately so that fields may be prioritized if budget is inadequate to perform job in its entirety. The work shall begin as soon as possible, pending the receipt of the insurance certificate and issuance of purchase order, with completion no later than April 19th, 2024. The City reserves the right to make such investigations as it deems necessary to make the determination of the bidder's responsiveness and responsibility.
