The Contractor shall: a. Furnish all labor, materials, plant power, light, heat, fuel, water, tools, appliances, equipment, supplies, and other means of construction necessary or proper for performing and completing the work b. Obtain and pay for all required permits; c. Perform and complete the work in the manner best calculated to promote rapid construction, consistent with safety of life and property, all as approved by the Chief Engineer and in strict accordance with the Contract Documents; d, Protect the work during construction, clean up the work and maintain it during and after construction; and e. Do all work and pay all costs incidental to the contract, unless modified by the Detailed Specifications of the Contract. The Contractor shall: a. Do all work and pay all costs of cutting, protecting, supporting, maintaining, relocating and restoring all surface, sub-surface or overhead structures, and all other property, including pipes, conduits, ducts, tubes, chambers and appurtenances, public or private in the vicinity of the work; b. Repair or replace any of the above items that are damaged; c. Restore all disturbed areas to their original condition; d. Do all extra and additional work; e. Bear all losses due to the nature of the work; f. Bear costs incidental to suspension or discontinuance of the work and; and g. Assume all risks of whatever nature. CONTRACT NO. 20181407428
