Demolition, site work, paving and addition to a mixed-use development in New York, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; for the demolition of a transportation facility; transportation facility; transportation facility; and for the addition of a transportation facility.
The New East Yaphank Station will include a two (2) car platform with ADA compliant access, a parking lot with fifty (50) space capacity, a platform shelter shed, a kiss-and-ride loop for drop-offs (accessible by bus), with illuminated bollards/benches/bike rack and landscaping. In addition, the platform will be equipped with a new Audio-Visual Paging System, CCTV Cameras, and Blue-Light System (Help Point). The project will also include an access roadway to connect the station complex to existing roadways. Demolition of Old East Yaphank Station, once new station is up and running.
