Reference Number 0000338232 Question Acceptance Deadline 01/16/2024 05:00 PM EST Questions are submitted online Yes The Tompkins County Department of Social Services at 320 W State Street, Ithaca NY 14850 is looking to purchase a new X-ray machine to be used to scan personal property of guests and visitors of the department. A high-capacity machine is needed that is designed for inspecting medium to large sized baggage, briefcases, parcels, and other hand carried items. The winning bidder will be responsible for providing one new machine, the labor to install, as well as training on using it effectively. Prior to bid submission, bidders shall make a personal examination of the location of the proposed work and of the surroundings thereof and shall thoroughly acquaint themselves with the details of the work to be done and all the conditions and obstacles likely to be encountered in the performance and completion of the work. Vendor must provide, in advance, names of all employees entering the facility. Vendor employees must present photo identification upon building entry. The work of the Departments in the building are confidential by nature and bidder must keep names and likeness of individuals on premises confidential.
