Site work and new construction of a stadium in Calgary, Alberta. Completed plans call for the construction of a 880,000-square-foot, two-story above grade stadium.
The intent of this RFP is to secure subcontracts to relocate the Stephenson Building enabling the construction of the Calgary Event Centre. This relocation may be completed in one of two fashions: Option 1: Full Building Relocation – this option includes the for the relocation of the above grade Stephenson Building in its current form to a temporary storage location. Option 2: Temporary Deconstruction – this option includes for the temporary deconstruction of the Stephenson building using standard heritage practices to enable the later reconstruction of the Stephenson. Heritage and character defining elements will be protected for reconstruction. Owner requires that all interested parties sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in order to access the plans and specs for this project. To obtain the NDA for this project refer to document details in this report. The project value listed reflects the total project estimate.
