As of January 25, 2023, project was awarded to Cable Excavating $219,709.00, and ADM $100,545.00 Two separate sealed bids for the Reynolds Run Road Stream Crossing Replacement project consisting of removal of a 7' circular culvert pipe replaced with a 50' prefabricated bridge on spread footer abutments, stream channel restoration and stormwater improvements Bid #1 is specific to the removal of the existing structure and installation of the new structure and associated stormwater improvements. Bid #2 is specific to the prefabricated bridge super structure delivered to the site. Bids should be sealed in an envelope and clearly marked "Sealed Bids for Reynolds Run Road Stream Crossing Replacement Bid #1 or Bid #2 (as applicable). Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record with the Township as having obtained the bidding documents and attended the mandatory bid site showing. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Elk Township or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with the bid. A performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract as awarded will be required as security for faithful performance of the contract.
