Site work for a water / sewer project in Alameda, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

WETA, a local agency with multi-county jurisdiction, was established by the California Legislature to expand regional ferry service and coordinate waterborne emergency response activities on San Francisco Bay. WETA's vision is to develop, operate and manage an expanded and enhanced region-wide ferry system that provides a reliable, state-of-the-art and attractive transportation option for the Bay Area, and to play a critical role in coordinating and providing water transportation to serve emergency response and economic recovery needs. WETA is seeking water jet maintenance, dry docking, and general refit services from qualified individuals or firms (Proposers). The work to accomplished will include dry docking of the vessel, USCG inspection for credited COI, coating systems inspection and repairs, and sea valve renewals. For detailed information regarding the required Services, please refer to Part B, Technical Specifications. The individual or firm selected pursuant to this RFP (Selected Proposer) will be expected to provide any and all Services in compliance with applicable local, state and federal laws, rules and regulations. A contract awarded in connection with this RFP will be financed in part with federal funds. The federal requirements applicable to this RFP and any associated contract, including the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) participation requirements, are included in Attachment X, Federal Requirements in Part D. All statements and interpretations provided by WETA representatives at the Pre-Proposal Conference are non-binding unless contained in a subsequent written Addendum. All requests for clarification regarding the meaning or interpretation of any part of this RFP should be in writing and sent to Jeff Powell at web iste All drydock correspondence should be sent to the following: Jeff Powell - WETA, powell@watertransit.org Jan Rybka - WETA, rybka@watertransit.org The M/V Dorado requires drydocking to accomplish routine inspections, credit USCG drydocking, coating systems repairs, and Jet drive work. The drydocking shall commence approximately on February 22, 2024, with Final Acceptance achieved no later than March 22, 2024. USCG credit inspection is scheduled for March 8, 2024. Final Acceptance means all work required under the Agreement has been completed, the vessel has been redelivered, and all testing, inspections and sea trials required by WETA have been completed in accordance with the Agreement and to WETA's satisfaction, as determined in WETA's sole discretion. WETA reserves the right to not award any contract as a result of this procurement and may terminate the procurement and commence a new procurement for part or all of the Services at any time. Formal contract award will only occur as and when, if at all, the WETA Board takes such action.
