Montgomery County intends to retain a qualified consultant or consulting team to provide full-time on-site construction oversight and inspection during the replacement of County Bridge 146, located on Bergey's Mill Road over east branch of Perkiomen Creek in Lower Salford Township. Construction is anticipated to commence in spring/summer 2024 and be completed within 12 months. The proposed bridge will be a two-span prestressed concrete PA bulb-tee beam bridge supported on concrete abutments with a span of 189 feet. The period of the contract shall be for the duration of construction (anticipated to be 12 months) with additional time to provide all construction documentation to the County for their records.
