New 12 Public Water Line Extension Underneath Hwy 77 on Post Oak Rd. in Noble, Oklahoma. The City of Noble is accepting sealed bids for the construction of a 185 linear foot 12-inch PVC AWWA C900 waterline extension on Post Oak Rd. underneath Highway 77. Per ODOT & ODEQ standards, the waterline must be cased in a 20-inch steel casing for a distance of 128 linear feet. Refer to the attached Water Line Extension engineered plans by MBLS, PLLC for specific details. Sealed Bids must be sent to the City of Noble, P.O. Box 557 Noble, OK 73068 or delivered to 304 S. Main Street Noble, OK 73068. Bids will be accepted until 2:00 PM January 17th, 2024 when they will be opened in the Council Chamber of City Hall. The City will select the lowest, responsible bid for the project within 30 days of the opening. The City retains the right to reject all bids, or to eliminate portions of the project in the total bid. Bids submitted 96 hours before the opening date (excluding weekends and holidays) and bids submitted after the deadline will be returned, unopened. BID REQUIREMENTS 1. An itemized bid price for the completed project per attached engineered plans. 2. BID BOND. A bid bond of 5% of the total bid in the form of a cashier's check, surety bond or an irrevocable Letter of Credit must accompany the bid. 3. A NON-COLLUSION AFFIDAVIT and a BUSINESS-RELATIONSHIPS AFFIDAVIT must be submitted with the bid (See the attached forms). 4. Proof of Liability Insurance ($1Million minimum) and Worker's Compensation Insurance. 5. List of Business Experience and references. All references should include business names and contact information. The bidder selected must be able to execute a contract for the project within 30 days of the bid selection. Once a bid has been selected, the remaining bid bonds will be returned. The contract will require a performance bond in the total amount of the contract. Upon acceptance of the work, the performance bond will be replaced by a Maintenance Bond in the amount of the total project, to be in effect for two (2) years. Partial payments may be invoiced during the project upon acceptance of the work. A 5% retainage will apply to partial payments until the project is fully completed and accepted.
