The Tohopekaliga Water Authority (Toho) invites interested well drilling firms with experience in the construction of water supply and Injection wells and related permitting to submit Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for prequalification to provide construction services of the water supply and injection wells that Toho will be needed in the next five (5) years. It is anticipated that the following water supply and injection wells will be needed and the prequalified well drilling firms shall commit to construct the wells in according to the anticipated schedule in Table 1. Additional well(s) may be added to the list when needs arise within the next 5 years (2024 to 2028). In general, the scope of work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to construct, develop, and test new water supply and injection wells. It also includes water quality sampling and analysis of water samples withdrawn from the aquifer and all other testing required by the FDEP UIC, SFWMD, FLDOH or other regulatory agencies. The design of some of the water supply and injection wells in Table 1 above has been or will be initiated shortly. At a minimum, the respondent should address in their response: experience in constructing water supply and/or injection wells and related permitting for public entities in Florida, in particular, in central Florida. Well Drillers must be licensed by a Florida Water Management District. TOHO reserves the right to accept and/or reject any or all submittals; to waive irregularity, variance, or informality whether technical or substantial in nature.
