The bid was awarded to JAG Construction for $12,190. Construction has begun and will be completed by May 1. Estimated cost is $12k. Major items include: Interior of five (5) 10'x14' shed-style chalets to be finished with R15 and R30 insulation, drywall, paint, floating vinyl flooring, window, door, and base trim The successful contractor agrees that if their submittal is accepted by the Hart Economic and Redevelopment Team (HEART), they will, within fifteen (15) calendar days of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract to furnish all labor, equipment and material necessary to completely execute the work for the pricing stated in their proposal. The successful contractor shall also supply to HEART liability insurance documentation with the City of Hart, Hart Economic and Redevelopment Team as a named insured. The work associated with this program cannot not commence prior Notice of Award and must be completed no later than May 1, 2024. All work must comply with local, county and state codes. Contractor shall be responsible for acquiring and paying for all permits required for this project. HEART reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal, to waive any irregularities in any proposal and to negotiate with a selected contractor if it appears such actions would be in the best interest of the City of Hart Scope of work: Insulate, drywall, paint, and install floating vinyl flooring with base trim in five (5) 140 square foot (10'x14') chalets at the Main Street Market in Downtown Hart. Specifications: Interior of each unit to be finished with R13 wall insulation, R30 ceiling insulation, 1/2 " finished drywall on walls and ceiling, satin white painted ceiling and walls, and 1x4" painted white trim around (15) 2'x3' windows, (5) 3'x5' doors and (5) 14'x10' baseboards.
