The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: Underground inspections to verify water service line material on each side of the curb stop of approximately 175 water service lines, including excavation and backfill, and removal and restoration of all surfaces as necessary. FUNDING The work to be performed under this contract will be financed and paid for by funds received from EGLE and their Drinking Water Asset Management Grant. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to City of Hart in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of Sixty (60) days after the receipt of bids. COMPLETION DATE The project is intended to follow the following schedule: o Contract Award: December 12, 2023 o Substantial Completion: June 1, 2024 o Final Completion: July 1, 2024
