Intent to Bid Due Date: Feb 1st 2024, 2:00 PM CST Electronic proposals must include a copy of the Bid Bond with their proposal response. The original Bid Bond must be received via mail and postmarked or received by Denton County Purchasing, located at 1 Courthouse Drive, Suite 2300, Denton TX 76208, no later than the RFP due date for the submission to be considered responsive. Proposals will be opened publicly to identify the names of the Proposers and their respective proposed contract amount and number of days required to complete the project. Other contents of the proposals will not be disclosed prior to award or rejection by Owner. Unlisted classifications needed for work not included within the scope of the classifications listed may be added after award only as provided in the labor standards contract clauses. Owner further reserves right to reject any and all Proposals, and to re-advertise for Proposals. The project consists of the replacement of the chillers and chill water pumps at the Charlie J. Cole Building. Submit Proposal Security (Bid Bond) with Proposal Form in the amount of 5 percent of the maximum amount of Proposal Price payable without recourse to Denton County. The Bid Bond may be submitted using the surety's bond form. Successful Proposer shall submit Owner's Performance and Payment Bonds in amount of 100 percent of Contract amount on the forms provided in the specifications within 10 days upon notice of award. In general, Work consists of the replacement of the two older Trane RTAA chillers, chilled water pumps, and domestic water heater with instantaneous type. Work also includes the construction of a lean-to building to house the new water heaters.
