**As of February 14, 2024 , This project has been awarded to Maine Mountain Post & Beam, with the awarded amount of $25,000.** Construction of a post and beam, open pavilion style building to be located at the Town Forest property on Main Street (Tax Map 14, Lot 43) The town reserves the right to accept or deny any and all bids. It is the responsibility of the prospective bidder to examine the bid specifications to ensure that he/she fully understands the bid requirements. Any questions regarding the bid should be directed to the Town Manager Katie Haley at 207-935-2805. Any errors or omissions detected by prospective bidders should be brought to the attention of the Town Manager well before bid openings. The Contractor agrees to maintain Commercial General Liability insurance with a limit of not less than $1,000,000 for bodily injury and property damage claims which arise from operations under this contract. Contractor agrees to name the Town as an additional insured for Property and Casualty, Motor Vehicle, and Workers Compensation Coverage. The Contractor will provide to the Town a Certificate of Insurance evidencing the above-mentioned coverages before the project begins. The Contractor is responsible for all subcontractors and will require the subcontractors meet the insurance requirements. Payment Schedule: Initial deposit of 25% may be made after award and after contractor provided certificate of insurance in compliance with above statements.
