It is the intent of the drawings and specifications to provide for parking lot replacement of approximately 5,000 square yards of pavement at the Ottumwa Community School District's Schafer Stadium in Ottumwa, Iowa. Est. Value: $ 457,000.00 Est. Completion Date: Aug. 15, 2024 Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Code of Iowa. Bid security shall be 10% of the bid amount. The work under the proposed Contract shall commence upon issuance of the written Notice to Proceed. The Contractor will not be allowed to start work prior to May 15, 2024. The proposed parking lot replacement improvements listed shall be fully completed on or before August 15, 2024. The Bidder agrees to pay as liquidated damages the sum of $500 for each consecutive calendar day after the specified completion date that the project is not fully completed.
