Existing Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) System. The Proposer shall include in its proposal a thorough assessment of the existing HVAC system for the purposes of determining whether or not the existing HVAC system, when fully operational, provides adequate cooling, heating, air movement and temperature control, and thermal comfort. The assessment findings will be written in a draft report and submitted to the Village of Iuka. 2. A bid for the replacement of the HVAC, which breaks down the price for the suggested equipment and labor charges involved. All proposals will become the property of IUKA. If any proprietary information is contained in the proposal, it should be clearly identified. The selected Proposer will execute an Agreement for Services with IUKA describing the Scope of Services to be performed, the schedule for completion of the services, compensation, and other pertinent provisions. The cost for developing the proposal is the sole responsibility of the Proposer. All proposals submitted become the property of IUKA. IUKA requires that all Proposers have an ap proved Certificate of Insurance on file with IUKA for the issuance of a permit or contract. This RFP does not commit the Village of Iuka, Illinois to award a contract or to pay any costs incurred for any services. IUKA, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals received as a result of this RFP, to negotiate with any qualified source(s), or to cancel this RFP in part or in its entirety. All proposals submitted become the property of IUKA. IUKA requires that all Proposers have an approved Certificate of Insurance on file with IUKA for the issuance of a permit or contract.
